The Business Investment & Growth Team at Halton Borough Council supports businesses at all stages of their journey.
Whether you are starting a business, looking to grow an existing business or thinking of relocating to Halton, we can help with a range of services such as finding premises, identifying funding, promoting and marketing your business, networking and signposting.
We are currently running the Halton Business Support Service which is aimed at helping Halton businesses with a range of solutions, including:

- Digital Marketing
- Environmental Performance
- HR Support
- Manufacturing Process & Efficiency
- Strategic Marketing & Sales
- Tendering & Bid Writing
- Financial Management
- Business Start Up Support
- Town Centre Business Support
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund service offers fully-funded consultancy support to eligible businesses in the Borough of Halton, with a focus on growing small and medium sized businesses.
Delivery is both via 1-2-1 and one-to-many sessions.
This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as the lead authority. The project is expected to run until March 2025.
